Really cool announcement!

So, i didn't know whether I should wait and just let everyone find out the first sunday we powered it on or tell you now, but because of my excitement I am going to tell you now. Our church is about to make a really cool shift in the way we experience our Sunday mornings (and church). Yesterday, during the board meeting, we ordered a projector. I know what you're thinking... "Wha...wha....what!?" I know! I'm excited too! This will enable us to use all kinds of media for services, sermons, bible studies, and much more. So be looking for us to utilize this to post announcements, add a visual dimension to sermons, use movie clips and resources for illustrations (in the past I have had to describe movies to you, now you don't have to listen to me, we can watch them together), and slides for the music we sing. This will drastically cut down on the amount of paper we have to use, and hopefully enrich our services as we continue to worship, learn, and serve together. I just thought I would share this exciting news.
